New Brunswick Facts:

New Brunswick is one of Canada's three Maritime provinces and is the only constitutionally bilingual province (French and English) in the federation The provincial capital is Fredericton. Statistics Canada estimates the provincial population in 2008 to be 747,000; a majority are English-speaking, but there is also a large Francophone minority ~32%, chiefly of Acadian origin.

New Brunswick's urban areas have modern, service-based economies dominated by the health care, educational, retail, finance, and insurance sectors. These sectors are reasonably equitably distributed in all three principal urban centre's. In addition, heavy industry and port facilities are found in Saint John; Fredericton is dominated by government services, universities, and the military; and Moncton has developed as a commercial, retail, transportation, and distribution centre's with important rail and air terminal facilities.

The rural primary economy is best known for forestry, mining, mixed farming, and fishing.

Forestry is important in all areas of the province, but especially in the heavily forested central regions. There are many sawmills in smaller towns and several large pulp and paper mills located in Saint John, Miramichi, Nackawic, and Edmundston.

Language Marketplace provides translation services in New Brunswick from French into English and from English into French. In addition we provides translation services in over 140 other language combinations, such as Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Punjabi, Urdu, German, and Russian.

Language Marketplace has been providing professional Interpretation and Translation services in New Brunswick to a wide range of clients for many years. All of our professionals are "mother-tongue" translators and interpreters - no software can duplicate their quality of work. All of our Interpreters are accredited by the Ministry of Attorney General, Canadian Immigration and Refugee Board and/or the Ministry of Culture, Citizenship and Recreation. Our interpreters participate in professional development training on a regular basis. Our Translators belong to professional translators' associations, where available - either in Canada or in-country of origin. Beyond any accreditation, at Language Marketplace, we only keep the best through an ongoing system of continual assessment.
