PEI Facts: Prince Edward Island according to the 2008 estimates, 139,000 residents collectively referred to as Islanders. Prince Edward Island is located in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence west of Cape Breton Island, north of the Nova Scotia peninsula, and east of New Brunswick.
